April 30, 2026
BasicNet closed the first quarter of 2026 with consolidated revenue of 132.8 million euros, up 35.1% on the same period in 2025. Direct sales rose to 118.8 million euros, up 45%, partly reflecting the contribution of the Woolrich and Sundek brands, acquired at the end of 2025. The Board of Directors, chaired by Marco Boglione, reviewed the period’s results. Aggregate sales of the group’s brands, generated worldwide across the network, reached 299.1 million euros, an increase of 11.3% from 268.8 million in the same period of 2025. The performance was driven by sales from commercial licensees and direct channels, which totalled 241.8 million euros, up 19%, while sales from manufacturing licensees declined to 57.3 million euros, minus 12.6%.
By geography, Europe posted strong growth with a 25.6% increase, while Asia and Oceania recorded a more modest increase of 4.7%. By contrast, the Middle East and Africa declined by 5.5% and, in particular, the Americas declined by 18.1%.
Royalties fell to 13.8 million euros, a 14.2% drop, partly reflecting the transition to direct distribution in certain markets.
