Aluminium futures fall on low demand
NEW DELHI: (May 5) Aluminium prices dropped marginally by Rs 1.10 to Rs 370.50 per kg in the futures trade on Tuesday as participants trimmed their positions amid a weak trend in spot markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in June fell by Rs 1.10 or 0.3 per cent to Rs 370.50 per kg in 20 lots.
Analysts said the cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
