Spain Announces New Initiative to Open Darsgah for Muslim Girls
SPAIN: The Spanish Prime Minister, Mr Pedro Sánchez has announced a new initiative aimed at supporting the religious education of Muslim girls in Spain.
According to the statement, the government plans to open around 50,000 Darsgah (Institutes) where Muslim girls will be able to learn and read the Holy Qur’an and gain proper Islamic knowledge in a respectful and peaceful environment.
The announcement reflects Spain’s commitment to religious freedom and respect for all faiths. Prime Minister Sánchez emphasized that Spain respects every religion and believes that everyone should have the right to practice and learn their faith freely without fear or discrimination.
For many Muslims around the world, this step is being seen as a positive sign that Islamic education and religious identity are being respected in a European country. Darsgah will provide Muslim girls with an opportunity to connect with their faith, learn the teachings of the Qur’an, and strengthen their spiritual values.
Supporters say that such initiatives help create a society built on understanding, respect, and peaceful coexistence among people of different beliefs and cultures.
In a world where religious differences sometimes create division, actions that promote knowledge, respect, and education can help bring communities closer together.
This initiative highlights the importance of protecting religious rights and allowing future generations to learn their faith with dignity and respect.
