Suspected Murder in Pirna: Man’s Body Found with Visible Injuries
A shocking discovery was made in Pirna early Friday morning when a male body was found lying by the roadside around 8 a.m. The body was found with visible injuries on the face and hands, sparking suspicions of foul play.
An ID card recovered from the scene bore the name Deepak Thakur, son of Ajit Thakur, but the police have not yet officially confirmed his identity.
A team of investigators, including Colvale Police, led by PI Nikhil Palekar, DySP Wilson D’Souza, and North Goa SP Rahul Gupta (IPS), rushed to the scene to conduct an on-site investigation. The forensic team collected evidence, and the body was sent to GMC Bambolim for a post-mortem examination.
