Goa casino director shooting case transferred to crime branch: Sawant

PANAJI: (Aug 31) The investigation into the firing targeting casino director Srinivas Nayak in Porvorim has been transferred to the Goa Police Crime Branch, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant informed the state assembly on Monday.

Sawant was responding to an adjournment motion moved by Goa Forward Party (GFP) MLA Vijai Sardesai to discuss the collapse of law and order in the state.

“The case is under investigation and has been handed over to the crime branch,” he told the House.
