Eight arrested after two groups of youngsters clash near Goa club

PANAJI: (Aug 24) Two groups of youngsters clashed with each other near a club here, leading to the arrest of eight persons, Goa police said on Monday.

The clash took place near SOHO Club, in the jurisdiction of Panaji police station, in the early hours of Sunday, an official said.

He said that the accused allegedly formed groups, verbally abused and assaulted each other in a public place, disturbing peace and tranquillity.
