*Goa Startup Accelerator startups pitch innovations at TiE Panjim Open Mic night*
*Dona Paula; June 18, 2026:* From refining ideas within the Goa Startup Accelerator Programme to pitching them before some of Goa’s leading entrepreneurs and business leaders, 20 selected startups took a significant step forward at the TiE Panjim Open Mic Night held on June 18, 2026, at The International Centre Goa (ICG), Dona Paula.
Organised by Shri Rajesh Mehrotra, President of TiE Panjim, the Open Mic Night provided a valuable platform for emerging entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas, connect with industry leaders and gain insights from experienced mentors and investors. The event was moderated by Shri Vijay Thomas, Ex-President of TiE Toronto and Founder & CEO of Tangentia, and enabled founders to present their ventures through concise elevator pitches before an accomplished panel.
The panel included Shri Rohit Monserrate, Mayor, Corporation of the City of Panaji; Shri Vijay Hede, Industrialist; Shri Rajesh Sheth, entrepreneur and developer of Mall de Goa; Shri Tamal Roy, Group President, JM Baxi Group; Shri Harshvardhan Bhatkuly, Founder of Business Goa Magazine; Shri Floyd Tavares, Brand Consultant and Business Coach; Dr. Paresh Lotlekar, Director, Studio 32 Dental Care; Shri Parixit Pai Fondekar, Founder of Kamaxi Group; and Smt. Priya Singh, Founder of Chalo Mobility among others.
Speaking about the experience, Smt Janhavi Sawal, Founder of Artine Technologies and one of the shortlisted startups said, “Being shortlisted among the top 26 startups in the Goa Startup Accelerator Programme has given us opportunities to interact with technology leaders and experienced entrepreneurs. Participating in events helps us sharpen our 90-second elevator pitch, gain confidence while presenting our ideas and receive valuable feedback from experienced industry professionals.”

The event also provided participating startups with an opportunity to interact directly with ecosystem stakeholders, exchange ideas and gain practical insights into building and scaling sustainable businesses. Through such engagements, the Goa Startup Accelerator Programme continues to support founders by creating pathways to industry connections, mentorship and growth opportunities that can accelerate their entrepreneurial journey.
