Goa Cricket Association Announces Squad for 42nd All India Uttarakhand Gold Cup Cricket Tournament 2026
PANAJI: The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) has announced its squad for the prestigious 42nd All India Uttarakhand Gold Cup Cricket Tournament 2026, as Team Goa gears up to compete against top teams from across the country.
The squad was selected by the GCA Selection Committee headed by Chairman Girish Parekh along with committee members Nitin Vernekar, Ilyas Naroo, Anand Mhapankar, and Harshad Gadekar after closely monitoring the performances of players across various domestic competitions.
For this tournament, the Goa Cricket Association has been placed in Group ‘D’, alongside other teams including the Kerala Cricket Association, L.B. Shastri Cricket Club, and the Nepal Cricket Association.
The selected squad comprises:
Manthan Khutkar, Snehal Kauthankar, Abhinav Tejrana, Lalit Yadav, Piyush Yadav, Darshan Misal, Mohit Redkar, Deepraj Gaonkar, Kaushik V, Shubham Tari, Rutvik Naik, Vikash Singh, Amulya Pandrekar, Gauresh Kambi, Kaushal Hattangadi, Shivendra Bhujbal and Shiven Borkar.
GCA President Mahesh Dessai, Secretary Tulshidas Shetye and the Managing Committee extended their best wishes to Team Goa for the tournament and expressed confidence in the squad’s ability to deliver a strong performance and bring laurels to the state.
The association also reiterated its commitment towards strengthening cricket in Goa and providing greater exposure to talented cricketers through participation in national-level tournaments.
