MAPUSA FIRE CREW ACTS SWIFTLY TO DOUSE CORJUEM HOUSE FIRE

Mapusa : A house caught fire near Maruti Mandir at Premiere Wado, Corjuem, Aldona, on Tuesday morning, prompting a swift response from the Mapusa Fire Station.The fire call was received at 11:02 hrs, following which a fire tender from Mapusa, led by Sub Officer Shri Dnyaneshwar Sawant, rushed to the spot. Fire personnel immediately swung into action and brought the blaze under control, preventing it from spreading to nearby structures. The team carried out cooling operations to ensure no re-ignition.

No casualties were reported in the incident. The cause of the fire and the extent of damage to property are being ascertained.Sub Officer Dnyaneshwar Sawant and his team were in attendance and supervised the firefighting operation.
