MLA MICHAEL LOBO STARTS HOTMIXING WORK AT PORBA VADDO, CALANGUTE

CALANGUTE: MLA Michael Lobo on Wednesday marked the commencement of hotmixing work on the road stretch from Vatari Temple to the Main Road at Porba Vaddo, Calangute.

The road improvement, described as a long-pending demand of locals, aims to provide smoother and safer connectivity for residents and commuters in the area. The stretch is a key internal link used daily by two-wheeler and four-wheeler traffic.“

Development of local infrastructure continues to remain a priority for the betterment of our constituency,” Lobo said after launching the work.

He thanked the Village Panchayat Calangute, Sarpanch Joseph Sequeira, Deputy Sarpanch Filomena Fernandes, panchayat members, officials, and local residents for their support and cooperation in taking the work forward.Panchayat officials said the hotmixing will address potholes and uneven surfaces that worsen during the monsoon. The work is expected to improve access to the main road for Porba Vaddo residents.
