PARRA: A field near Emerald Hall and Parra Tower at Zackni Wado, Parra, caught fire in the early hours of Tuesday, prompting a swift response from the Mapusa Fire Station. The fire call was received at 00:56 hrs, after which a fire tender was dispatched to the site. The operation was led by Sub Officer Shri Omkar Karbotkar. The team brought the blaze under control before it could spread to nearby residential and commercial structures.
