Kushavati DLC Reviews 97 FRA Claims, Collector Orders Time-Bound Disposal
Kushavati: Ms. Egna Cleetus, IAS, Collector, Kushavati District, chaired a meeting of the District Level Committee (DLC) to consider claims received under the Forest Rights Act, 2006 from the Sub-Divisional Level Committees (SDLCs) of Dharbandora, Sanguem, and Canacona talukas.
During the meeting, a total of 97 claims were taken up, comprising 33 from Dharbandora taluka, 40 from Sanguem taluka and 24 from Canacona taluka, for consideration and decision. The Committee reviewed each case in detail and issued necessary directions to ensure timely disposal of claims in accordance with the provisions of the Act.
