CM Dr. Pramod Sawant Launches Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 at Porvorim

Porvorim: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Monday inaugurated Vigilance Awareness Week 2026, themed “Probity for Prosperity,” at the Seminar Hall, Secretariat, Porvorim

.The week-long observance aims to promote integrity, transparency and accountability in public governance.

Chief Secretary Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS, administered the Vigilance Awareness Week pledge to senior bureaucrats, reaffirming the state administration’s commitment to a corruption-free and ethical work culture .Director of Vigilance Amarsen W. Rane, Secretaries and Under Secretaries to the Government, Heads of various Government Departments and staff of the Vigilance Department were present at the inaugural function. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister emphasized the need for probity in public life as the foundation for sustainable prosperity and good governance. Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 will be observed across all government departments and institutions in the State until 1st November 2026, with various awareness programmes and activities.
