We want to control more than the opponents: FC Goa coach
PORVORIM: (Oct 9) FC Goa head coach Gouramangi Singh on Friday stressed the need to stick to the club’s playing philosophy and maintain control over matches as the team prepares to open its Indian Super League campaign against Chennaiyin FC here on Saturday.
Emphasising the importance of preserving the club’s identity, the coach said FC Goa would look to remain competitive throughout the season while maximising its control over games.
“FC Goa has a clear identity that we always want to compete, remain competitive through the season, and nothing changes there. The club has an identity, and we want to control as much as possible, more than the opponent, to give ourselves the best chance to win the game,” he said during the pre-match press conference.
