Water Supply to be Hit in Bardez on Wednesday dues to 700mm Main Pipeline Repair Work at Thivim

Mapusa : Due to urgent repair work of the 700mm diameter conveying main line at Thivim, the water supply was shut down, officials informed. As a result, there will be restricted water supply on 30/09/2026 (Tuesday) in the following areas Part of Mapusa Constituency, Part of Thivim, Part of Moira, Nachinola, Uccasaim & Bastora, Anjuna, Vagator, Guirim, Part of Calangute, Saligao and Porvorim constituencies.According to the Executive Engineer, WD-II, Division of Drinking Water, Porvorim-Goa, the repair work was completed late evening on 29/09/2026.The department has requested all consumers to bear with the inconvenience caused and to store adequate water.
