Major Relief for Bardez on Anvil: Saligao MLA Fast-Tracks Commissioning of Pilerne’s 15 MLD Water Treatment Plant
Saligao: Saligao MLA kedar naik conducted a site inspection of the upcoming 15 MLD Water Treatment Plant at Pilerne IDC along with concerned officials and members of the Pilerne-Marra Panchayat on Thursday.
The MLA reviewed the final stages of work of the vital infrastructure project which is now on the verge of completion. The plant will significantly strengthen the water supply network and improve water availability and pressure in the area. Once commissioned, the project will cater to the growing water needs of Pilerne-Marra, Sangolda and surrounding villages, resolving the long-pending issue of low pressure and irregular supply. The MLA held discussions with officials and panchayat members on necessary measures to ensure timely completion and commissioning of the plant and directed them to expedite the remaining works. The panchayat members welcomed the project and expressed confidence that it will bring major relief to residents.
