Goa Warmly Welcomes CEC Gyanesh Kumar; Focus on Grassroots Democracy
Panaji /Goa warmly welcomed Chief Election Commissioner of India, Shri Gyanesh Kumar, on his two-day official visit to the State on September 2-3.
The CEC arrived in Goa on Wednesday to hold an insightful interaction with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and Electoral Literacy Clubs (ELCs) at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, aimed at strengthening the spirit of informed, inclusive and participative democracy. According to the Chief Electoral Officer, Goa, the visit is part of measures to strengthen electoral participation at the grassroots ahead of the 2027 Goa Assembly elections.
