Women Artisans Shine Under Swayampurna Goa at Veling-Priol-Cuncoliem
Ponda: Under the Swayampurna Goa Initiative, an Exhibition-cum-Sale of handmade products prepared by beneficiaries of the 3-month Tailoring Course was inaugurated at Veling-Priol-Cuncoliem Panchayat . The occasion also marked the inauguration of a 5-Day Hand Embroidery Course under the RAMP Programme.
The programme was graced by the presence of MLA Govind Gaude, Director of Handicrafts Sagun Velip, Sarpanch Harsha Gaude, Swayampurna Mitra Dr. Gaurav Gopal Naik, and other dignitaries.These initiatives aim to empower women with practical skills, create livelihood opportunities and promote self-reliance. Certificates were also distributed to beneficiaries of the Tailoring and Toy-Making Courses.
