Drishti Marine Lifesavers and Beach Marshals Celebrate Independence Day with Flag Hoisting at Goa Beaches
Colva: Marking India’s 80th Independence Day, Drishti Marine lifesavers and beach marshals conducted flag-hoisting ceremonies at Colva and Calangute beaches on Saturday bringing the spirit of patriotism to Goa’s coastline.
At Colva Beach, lifesavers gathered along the shoreline as the national tricolour was unfurled to the strains of the National Anthem. Simultaneously at Calangute Beach, Drishti Marine lifesavers along with beach marshals participated in a similar ceremony.
The team stood in formation, saluting the flag and reaffirming their commitment to both national service and public safety.
