CM Sawant urges Amit Shah to expedite ST political quota in Goa assembly
PANAJI: (Aug 5) Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has requested Union Home Minister Amit Shah to accelerate political reservation for Scheduled Tribes in the 40-member state legislative assembly.
After meeting Shah in New Delhi on Tuesday, Sawant said the Union minister gave a “positive assurance” on his appeal.
“Grateful for his positive assurance on my request to expedite political reservation for the Scheduled Tribes in the Goa Legislative Assembly,” the CM said
