Aahil Sheikh Wins Three Gold and Two Silver Medals at State Aquatic Championship
Panaji: Mast. Aahil Sheikh, a student of Class XI (Commerce) of People’s Higher Secondary School, Panaji, brought laurels to the institution by delivering an outstanding performance at the 37th Goa State Sub-Junior and Junior Aquatic Championship 2026, organised by the Goa Swimming Association. The championship was held at the Ponda Swimming Pool from 16th to 18th July 2026.
Competing in the Boys Group–1A category, Aahil won an impressive three gold medals in the 1500 m Freestyle, 800 m Freestyle, and 400 m Freestyle events. He also secured two silver medals in the 200 m Freestyle and 100 m Freestyle events.
His remarkable achievement reflects his dedication, perseverance, and sporting excellence. The Management, Principal, staff, and students of People’s Higher Secondary School congratulated Aahil on his exceptional success and wished him many more achievements in the future.
