Goa Govt Signs MoU with ShivYog Foundation to Promote Stress Management and Resilience
Panaji: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Goa Institute of Public Administration & Rural Development (GIPARD), Government of Goa, and the ShivYog Foundation at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, Taleigao.


The collaboration aims to promote stress management, mental wellness, and resilience through structured training programmes.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Sawant highlighted the growing importance of mental well-being in delivering effective governance. He said that government personnel often work under high-pressure environments and such initiatives will help them manage stress better, improve productivity, and serve citizens with greater empathy.Officials from GIPARD noted that this partnership aligns with the state government’s vision of creating a healthier, more responsive administrative system. The training is expected to benefit not just senior officers but also field staff who interact directly with the public.Representatives from the ShivYog Foundation said the programme will blend scientific approaches with yogic and meditative practices to help participants build mental strength and maintain work-life balance.
