SALIGAO: In a moment of immense pride for the village, Shri Saraswati Swaragini Ghumat Aarti Mandal, Verem, has been invited to present the traditional Ghumat Aarti at Shree Kshetra Kille Gangangad, Gaganbawda, Karveer, Kolhapur, Maharashtra.
The invitation to the all-women Mandal marks a significant recognition of Goa’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage at a prominent religious destination outside the state.The talented women of the Mandal are set to showcase the age-old tradition of Ghumat Aarti, a devotional performance that is deeply rooted in Goan culture.

.Expressing his best wishes, Saligao MLA said the performance reflects the growing appreciation for Goan folk and spiritual traditions across the country.
