CM Sawant Inaugurates Goa Shiksha Samagam 2026 to Mark 6 Years of NEP 2020

Panaji: Marking six years of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the Goa Shiksha Samagam 2026 at Zuari Hall, Lok Bhavan, Dona Paula,Goa, jointly organised by the Goa State Council of Educational Research and Training (GSCERT) and the Directorate of Higher Education, the Samagam, under the theme “Implementation of National Education Policy 2020 – Review, Reflections and the Road Ahead”, providing a common platform to review the progress of NEP implementation and chart the course for future educational reforms.

The inaugural session was attended by Chief Executive Officer and Head, PARAKH, NCERT; Prof. Indrani Bhaduri, Secretary (Education),Prasad Lolayekar, IAS, Director of Education; Shailesh Zingde, Director, Higher Education, Bhushan Savoikar, Director, GSCERT, Meghana Shetgaonkar and other dignitaries.
