Pradhan’s resignation reflects sense of responsibility; he played key role in NEP rollout: Goa CM

PANAJI: July 25 The resignation by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan reflected the same sense of responsibility that has marked his four decades in public life, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said on Saturday.

He said Pradhan’s leadership in implementing the National Education Policy would leave a lasting imprint on the country’s education ecosystem.

Pradhan’s resignation comes amid Cockroach Janta Party-led protests at Jantar Mantar, demanding his accountability over the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak and irregularities in the CBSE’s on-screen marking process, besides seeking wider reforms in the conduct of public examinations.
