Calangute : In a swift move to protect the environment, authorities took immediate action against the illegal dumping of sewage water into the nullah at Nagoa.A site inspection was conducted today along with concerned departments. Officials directed strict action against those responsible for the violation.
“Such violations will not be tolerated. Every effort will be made to protect our environment and public health,” said calangute MLA Michael lobo .Residents had raised concerns over the dumping, citing risks to water quality and health. The administration has assured that monitoring will be intensified to prevent recurrence and offenders will face legal consequences.
