Minister Shirodkar Inaugurates Major Repair Works at Provedoria Old Age Home, Margao
MARGAO: Minister for Institute of Public Assistance (Provedoria), Subhash Shirodkar, on TThursday inaugurated the major repair works at the Old Age Home of IPS (Provedoria), Margao. The inauguration was held in the presence of Minister for PWD, Shri. Digambar Kamat, MLA, Calangute & Chairman of GSIDC Ltd., Michael Lobo, Secretary (Provedoria), Prasanna Acharya, IAS, and Director, Institute of Public Assistance (Provedoria), . Vinayak Volvoikar, along with other officials and staff.
The repair works are expected to upgrade infrastructure and improve living conditions for senior citizens residing at the Provedoria-run facility. The Old Age Home at Margao is one of the key welfare institutions managed by the Institute of Public Assistance (Provedoria), which oversees homes and assistance programmes for the elderly and vulnerable across the state.
