Chief Secretary Dr. Candavelou Launches CRS Portal at GMC, Hands Over Digital Birth Certificates

Panaji: Chief Secretary, Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS visited the Birth and Death Registration Unit at Goa Medical College, Bambolim. Chief Secretary launched the Central Civil Registration System (CRS) Portal for the activities related to registration of Births and Deaths in the State of Goa. During the function, Chief Secretary, Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS presented birth certificates generated from the CRS portal to the parents of newly born babies.

 The function was organised by Directorate of Planning, Statistics & Evaluation and Office of the Chief Registrar of Births & Death. Director, DPSE,  Vijay Saxena, Dean, Goa Medical College, Prof. Dr. Jai Prakash Tiwari, Medical Superintendent of GMC, Dr.Rajesh Patil and other doctors were also present.
