Speeding Taxi Jumps Divider at Porvorim; Driver Escapes with Minor Injuries
Porvorim: A taxi driver escaped with minor injuries in a freak road accident near Neo Majestic Tuesday Porvorim after he allegedly lost control of the speeding vehicle .According to eyewitnesses, the taxi was proceeding at high speed from Mapusa towards Panaji when the driver lost control. The vehicle crossed over to the opposite lane after hitting the divider and landed on the road heading towards Mapusa. Despite the high-impact crash, the driver miraculously escaped with only minor injuries. He was referred to a hospital for medical treatment. Police have taken note of the incident.
