Senior Tuyem Panch Member and social worker Uday Krishna Mandrekar Joins Congress Party
Mapusa, Goa: In a significant boost to the Congress Party in North Goa, Uday Krishna Mandrekar, a three-time elected Panch Member and well-known social worker from Tuyem Village Panchayat, formally joined the Congress Party at a function held at the North Goa District Congress Office, Mapusa.
He was welcomed into the party in the presence of Goa Pradesh Congress Committee Member Babi Bagkar, Mhadei District Congress Committee President Mangaldas Naik, Mandrem Block Congress Committee President Narayan Redkar, District General Secretary Melvin D’Souza, District Treasurer Ajit Parab, and District Committee Office Bearer Minguel Fernandes.
Speaking on the occasion, Uday Krishna Mandrekar expressed confidence that he would actively work towards strengthening the Congress Party at the grassroots level in Tuyem and the surrounding areas. He stated that the Congress Party has always stood for secularism, social harmony, and equal respect for all communities.
“Congress is a truly secular party that believes in treating every citizen equally, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, or background. The contribution of the Congress Party towards the development and progress of Goa is immense and cannot be overlooked,” he said.
Mandrekar thanked the Congress leadership and party workers for warmly welcoming him into the organization. He also congratulated newly appointed Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Girish Chodankar and assured him of his full support and cooperation in further strengthening the party at the grassroots level across the state.
The Congress leaders present welcomed Mandrekar into the party fold and expressed confidence that his experience in public service and strong connect with the people of Tuyem would help further expand and strengthen the Congress Party in the region.
