ENCORE DANCE SUMMER CAMP CONCLUDES AT CALANGUTE STUDENTS GEAR UP FOR ‘SPOTLIGHT 26’ AT KALA ACADEMY
CALANGUTE: Mrs Filomena Fernandes on Tuesday met students of the Encore Dance Summer Camp as the camp drew to a close, with children now preparing for The Encore Spotlight 26 event scheduled for May 18 at Kala Academy, Panjim.The Co-Founder of Encore Academy of Performing Arts, Ms Cecille Rodrigues, thanked the Deputy Sarpanch for her support in encouraging children to pursue performing arts during the summer break.The interaction with the students marked the culmination of the summer camp, which provided training in dance and stage performance.
The upcoming Encore Spotlight 26 will serve as a platform for the young participants to showcase their talent before a live audience at the state’s premier cultural venue.Ms Rodrigues said community support from local representatives plays a key role in nurturing artistic skills among children and keeping them constructively engaged during vacations.The Encore Spotlight 26 will be held on Sunday, May 18, at Kala Academy, Panjim.
