Candolim Youth Suffers Burns After motorcyle Catches Fire While Refuelling
CANDOLIM: A youth sustained burn injuries on Saturday evening after a fire broke out while he was refuelling his motrcycle in Candolim. The incident occurred after the scooter ran out of petrol. The youth had reportedly brought fuel in a bottle and was transferring it into the tank when flames suddenly erupted. He suffered injuries to his hands and feet. The scooter was also damaged in the blaze. He was first taken to Mapusa District Hospital and later shifted to Goa Medical College for further treatment. Police suspect the fire may have been triggered after petrol spilled onto the hot silencer. Further investigation is underway.
