National Seminar on Bhagwan Parshuram’s Legacy Successfully Concluded in Goa; Mahotsav Culminates on Sunday  with Grand Celebrations

Panaji, Goa: The National Seminar organised as part of the Gomantak Janak Bhagwan Parshuram Avtaran Mahotsav 2026 was successfully held on April 25, 2026, at the Auditorium, Maquinez Palace, Old GMC Precinct, D.B. Marg, Campal, Panaji-Goa. The seminar, conducted from 9 AM to 3 PM, emerged as a landmark event that brought together national leaders, scholars, and community representatives to deliberate on the life, values, and contemporary relevance of Bhagwan Parshuram, the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu and the eternal embodiment of valour, dharma, and knowledge.

The event was organised under the aegis of the Rashtriya Parshuram Parishad – Goa Pradesh, in collaboration with the Department of Information and Publicity, Government of Goa, and was supported by the Entertainment Society of Goa. The seminar was graced by the presence of several distinguished national dignitaries who addressed the gathering and shared insights on how Bhagwan Parshuram’s ideals can guide modern society. The eminent speakers included Pandit Sunil Bharala, Founder, Rashtriya Parshuram Parishad and Former Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Shri Sunil Dutt Sharma, Rashtriya Karyakari Adhyaksh, Rashtriya Parshuram Parishad; Shri Vinay Sharma, General Secretary (Organisation), Rashtriya Parshuram Parishad; Shri Ajay Bhardwaj, National President, Parshuram Swabhiman Sena; Mr. Raj Vashisth, National Vice President, Rashtriya Parshuram Parishad; and the National President of Shakti Bhahini. The proceedings were anchored by the leadership of the Goa Chapter, including Shri Swatantra Rastogi, In-charge Goa State, Rashtriya Parshuram Parishad, and Mr. Prempal Singh, President, Rashtriya Parshuram Parishad Chapter – Goa State.

The seminar emphasised the need to propagate Bhagwan Parshuram’s principles of righteousness, fearlessness, and social responsibility among the youth and civil society. Key discussions focused on cultural heritage as a pillar of nation-building, the importance of ethical leadership, and the role of spiritual values in addressing contemporary challenges. The presence of state presidents Shri Jivedra Sharma, President J&K, and Shri Rajneesh Tyagi, President Delhi, along with dedicated karyakartas Shri Gajendra Rajpurohit, Shri Gurpreet Singh Sunny, Shri Harsh Prajapati, Smt. Shivani Sharma, Smt. Komal Sharma, and Smt. Deepika Sharma, highlighted the pan-India organisational strength and commitment of the Parishad towards this cause.

The National Seminar served as the intellectual cornerstone of the week-long Gomantak Janak Bhagwan Parshuram Avtaran Mahotsav 2026, celebrated from April 19 to 26 across Goa. While the Mahotsav evenings featured the soul-stirring Bhagwan Parshuram Katha Vachan by Param Pujya Dilip Krishna Bhardwaj Ji Maharaj, Mahaarti, Pooja, Chalisa, and a specially curated Light and Sound Show, the seminar provided a platform for thought leaders to engage in meaningful dialogue on the philosophical and social dimensions of Bhagwan Parshuram’s life. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from cultural enthusiasts, academicians, students, and citizens who interacted with the speakers during the sessions.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Swatantra Rastogi stated that the overwhelming response to both the Mahotsav and the National Seminar reaffirms Goa’s emergence as a centre for spiritual and cultural discourse. Shri Prempal Singh added that the Parishad is committed to taking Bhagwan Parshuram’s message of courage, knowledge, and service to every household. The organisers also acknowledged the contributions of Dr. Amit Nagar, Centre Convenor, Rashtriya Parshuram Parishad; Shri Mahesh Kandolkar, President, Nav Varsha Swagat Samiti; Shri Prasad Kamat Sambary, Sadasya, Nav Varsha Swagat Samiti; and Shri Shirish Naik of Bajrang Dal, whose coordination and seva were instrumental in the successful execution of all events.

The organisers expressed gratitude to all devotees, volunteers, media colleagues, and partner institutions for their participation and support in making this celebration a grand success, and invited citizens to continue upholding the values of Bhagwan Parshuram in their daily lives.
