Goa Shines at Codeavour 7 India Nationals; Teams Qualify for Internationals in Jakarta ЁЯМЯ
Goa continues to make a strong mark in the field of student robotics and innovation, with impressive performances at the Codeavour 7 India Nationals held at GITAM Deemed to be University on 11th and 12th April 2026.
A total of 10 teams from Goa participated in the Nationals after qualifying at the Codeavour 7 Goa Regionals, held on 22nd March 2026 at Saraswat Vidyalaya Mapusa and organised by FTC Team TechInfinity #25005. Three additional teams had also qualified for Nationals but could not travel to Nationals.
Strong Representation Across Tracks
Out of the 10 participating teams:
тЧП 3 teams competed in Track 1 (Innovation and Entrepreneurship)
тЧП 7 teams competed in Track 3 (Robo Soccer/Football)
All teams showcased remarkable dedication, technical skills, and strategic thinking.
ЁЯПЖ Achievements at Nationals
Goa teams delivered commendable results:
тЧП Track 1 (Innovation and Entrepreneurship) A team from Union High School Chimbel Tiswadi consisting of Miss Upasana Kumari (Std. VIII) and Miss Kavita Rathod (Std. IX) won a Consolation Award, earning qualification for the international stage.
тЧП Track 3 (Robo Soccer/Football)
тЧЛ ЁЯеЙ 3rd Place: Team PRATHAM Botz – Mast. Vedang Anay Kamat and Miss Surabhi Shubhesh Manerikar (Std. VI) from Saraswat Vidyalaya Mapusa
тЧЛ 4th Place: Team NYANO NINJA – Ashwin Atul Shirodkar and Aryan Atul Shirodkar from Sarvodaya Educational Society’s High School Curchorem
тЧЛ Team GOAN YODDHA – Miss Akshavi Ashok Gaonkar, Miss Arushi Arun Sawant and Mast. Shanveek Mukesh Gaunkar from PES’s New English High School, Digas-Panchwadi, has also qualified for Codeavour 7 Internationals.
All 4 teams have secured their place at the upcoming international competition.
ЁЯМН Road to Internationals
The above 4 teams from Goa have now qualified to represent India at the Codeavour 7 Internationals, scheduled to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, in May 2026.
Community Mentorship
The teams from NYANO NINJA and GOAN YODDHA was trained on robot construction, driving and control skills, and PCB soldering by Mast. Dhruv Sameer Salgaonkar, who is a student of Saraswat Vidyalaya (Mapusa) from Std. IX. Dhruv is a member of the FTC Team TechInfinity #25005, representing Goa at the FIRST Tech Challenge India Nationals since 2024.
