New Delhi April 17: The JS Institute of Design (JSID) will host its Open House 2026 on April 18, 2026, at its New Delhi campus, offering prospective students a one-day, immersive experience designed to help them explore programs, interact with faculty, and take informed admission decisions.
Unlike conventional admission events, the Open House is designed as an experience-led campus engagement, enabling participants to gain first-hand insights into curriculum, learning approach, student outcomes, and career pathways in design.
The event will be conducted across four key stages –
• Orientation: Introduction to JSID, its philosophy and program overview
• Program Exploration: Deep dive into courses, curriculum and career pathways
• Campus Immersion: Guided campus tour and interaction with students and faculty
• Admissions Support: Personalized counselling, application assistance and on-the-spot admission opportunities.
Commenting on the initiative, Nien Siao, Dean at JS Institute of Design, stated, “Choosing a design institute is a deeply personal and important decision, and it cannot be made through brochures alone. The Open House is designed to give students and parents a real sense of our academic environment, how we teach, and what outcomes they can expect. It allows them to engage, ask questions, and experience design education in a way that builds clarity and confidence for the future.”
Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with faculty, Heads of Departments, and current students, while also exploring campus infrastructure and student work. The initiative aims to help students and parents better understand design as a career and evaluate the right academic fit.
With Open House 2026, JSID continues to strengthen its focus on transparent, experience-driven engagement, enabling students to make confident and well-informed decisions about their future in design.
