“Mapusa MLA Attends CPA India Region VII Conference in Goa, Focuses on Regional Development”

Mapusa MLA  Joshua Dsouza Attended Day 2 of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Region Zone VII Conference in Panaji, Goa. The day began with Plenary Session-II, featuring deliberations on “Priorities of Zone VII in Trade, Tourism, Urbanization, Environment and Coastal Connectivity,” focusing on key aspects of regional development.

The day continued with a formal lunch hosted by His Excellency Governor of Goa Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, followed by the valedictory function of the conference, marking the conclusion of the proceedings. The two-day conference was marked by constructive dialogue and meaningful exchange of ideas, further strengthening cooperation among participating states. Present were His Excellency Governor of Goa Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, along with his wife Smt. P. Suneela Gajapathi Raju, Hon’ble Speaker of the Lok Sabha Shri Om Birla, and distinguished dignitaries and legislators from various states.
