New Office Bearers Elected to All Goa Fishermen’s Co-operative Association Ltd

PORVORIM The election of office bearers of the All Goa Fishermen’s Co-operative Association Ltd, Porvorim, Bardez – Goa, was successfully conducted on Friday by the Returning Officer, Yeshwant Naik, from the Office of the Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies (ARCS), Mapusa.

The election was held to constitute the Managing Committee for a five-year term from 2025 to 2030. The Returning Officer unanimously declared the new committee under the chairmanship of Mohan H. Chodankar.

The newly elected office bearers are as follows:
• Chairman: Mohan Hari Chodankar
• Vice-Chairman: Adv. Gajanan Vinayak Sawant
• Secretary: Anil Damodar Gaonkar
• Treasurer: Suresh Shiva Sawant

The following members were elected as Directors of the Association:
• Adv. Chandrakant Uttam Chodankar
• Sitakant K Parab
• Vishwanath Halankar
• Narayan Redkar

The All Goa Fishermen’s Co-operative Association Ltd expressed confidence that the newly elected committee will work collectively towards the welfare of the fishing community and the strengthening of cooperative activities across the State.
