Candolim Beach’s Revamped Washroom Block Ready to Wow Tourists”
Candolim: In a significant boost to tourism infrastructure, the Hon’ble Chief Minister and Tourism Minister, Shri Rohan Khaunte, has handed over a revamped washroom block at Candolim Beach to the V.P. Candolim. The facility, which was earlier in a state of disrepair with a non-functional Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), has been refurbished by the Panchayat.
The upgraded washroom block is expected to enhance the overall experience of tourists visiting the popular beach destination. The facility will be inaugurated soon after the Code of Conduct is lifted.
Calangute MLA Michael lobo said that The development is seen as a significant step towards improving the infrastructure at Candolim Beach, one of Goa’s most popular tourist spots. The revamped washroom block is expected to provide a much-needed relief to tourists and locals alike, and is a testament to the government’s commitment to improving tourism infrastructure in the state
