11 booked for assaulting doctor, holding his hospital staff hostage in Beed
BEED: (Oct 7) A case has been registered against 11 persons for allegedly assaulting a doctor, roughing up his hospital staff and holding them hostage for nearly six hours in Maharashtra’s Beed district following the death of a patient, police said on Wednesday.
The incident took place in Majalgaon on October 3, they said.
According to the police, one Bhagwan Salve passed away on October 3 during treatment at Dr Radhakisan Dake’s hospital. The patient’s relatives and associates allegedly created a ruckus on the premises, accusing the hospital of medical negligence.
