“Goa’s Electoral Roll Gets a Boost: 69.84% Enumeration Forms Collected, Voter Awareness Reigns Supreme”
Panaji, November 23, 2025: In a remarkable display of civic engagement, Goans have responded enthusiastically to the electoral roll update exercise, with nearly 69.84% of Enumeration Forms collected as of 4:00 PM today.
According to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, 8,27,608 Enumeration Forms have been collected and digitized, out of a total of 11,85,034 existing electors. This impressive turnout is a testament to the awareness and enthusiasm of Goan voters, who are eager to participate in shaping the future of their state.
To make it convenient for citizens, the Election Commission has made the process online, allowing electors to submit their Enumeration Forms through the Voter’s Portal, voters.eci.gov.in. This initiative has contributed significantly to the high response rate, making it easier for people to update their electoral details from the comfort of their homes.
The Chief Electoral Officer has expressed satisfaction with the progress, urging those who haven’t yet submitted their forms to do so at the earliest. “This is a crucial exercise that ensures every eligible voter is registered and can exercise their right to vote,” said the CEO.
