Students from Mapusa Embark on Educational Tour of Gujarat

Mapusa:  A total of 47 students of Class XI of PVS Madhusudan Kushe Higher Secondary School and Sri Ganesh High School, Ganeshpuri-Mhapsa, along with six teachers, recently went on a study tour to Gujarat. The objective of this study tour is to complete the knowledge of the subject in the minds of the students about the cultural heritage, history as well as contemporary economic, scientific and scientific context of India. During the six-day study tour, the students visited important places in Gujarat.
From October 25 to October 30, they visited the 19th century Hathasing Jain Temple, Rani Ki Bawdi, which has exquisite carvings. They also visited the beautifully crafted Akshardham Temple, which has a golden idol of the great Yogi Narayan Swami, and the Surya Mandir, which is a masterpiece of Indian architecture. They took note of the details. Sabarmati M. They visited Gandhiji’s ashram and learnt about his life and work. During the visit to ISRO in Ahmedabad, the students got to know about ISRO’s missions, future plans, scientific instruments developed by them. By visiting the Amul Milk Production Project in Anandgaon, the students got to know about the overall production process and the market of the products. By visiting the ‘Statue of Unity’, the students got to know about the historical context and national integration. Finally, the study tour concluded with an emotional Rana Aarti on the Narmada Ghat. In the said study tour, the students of Manohar Pednekar, Diksha Mishal Indi Ra Narvekar, Gauri Jathar, Shashank Naik, Saish Korgaonkar were given good guidance.
