*Over 250 projects approved by IPB strengthen Goa’s investment ecosystem, says CM Dr. Pramod Sawant*
Panaji, October 29, 2026: The Invest in Goa programme was held as part of the Vibrant Goa Global Business Summit 2026 at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium in Bambolim. The programme focused on attracting investment across key sectors and expanding business opportunities across the state.
Discussions covered data centres, artificial intelligence, technology, LPG storage infrastructure and educational institutions. Investors were also encouraged to explore opportunities in Goa’s hinterland. The state government reiterated its commitment to supporting businesses through responsive governance and industry-friendly policies.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant said Goa was working to create a supportive environment for businesses and investors across sectors such as technology, education and infrastructure. He encouraged investors to explore the state’s potential beyond established business centres and consider opportunities in the hinterland. He also highlighted the government’s commitment to responsive governance and industry-friendly policies to facilitate investment and support industrial growth.
Highlighting the state’s progress in attracting investment, Dr. Sawant said that more than 250 projects had been approved by the Goa Investment Promotion Board (IPB). He said the government’s focus was on translating investment interest into economic activity, employment opportunities and wider benefits for Goans. Expanding investment across different sectors and regions, he added, would help strengthen Goa’s business ecosystem and create opportunities beyond the state’s main commercial centres.
The Invest in Goa programme was part of the three-day Vibrant Goa Global Business Summit 2026, which brings investors and industry leaders together to explore business opportunities and encourage innovation in the state.
