Joshua Brings ‘Mhaje Ghar’ to Doorstep in Mapusa: On-Ground Review at Ward 9 to Clear File Hurdles

Mapusa In a bid to resolve pending grievances under the ‘Mhaje Ghar’ Scheme, Mapusa MLA Shri Joshua De Souza held a direct interaction meeting at Sai Baba Temple, Feira Alto for Booth 17, Ward 9, Mapusa.The meeting was focused on residents facing issues with their scheme files. Instead of calling people to the office, the MLA took the office to the ward — providing an opportunity to personally listen to residents, understand the difficulties faced during file processing and offer immediate guidance.

Office staff were present on the spot to check file status, verify documents and guide residents on the way forward. Residents raised concerns regarding delays and documentation, which were addressed individually.The initiative reflects a ward-level approach to governance, ensuring concerns receive necessary attention and assistance is provided at the convenience of the residents.Present at the meeting were local booth workers and ward residents.
