Nuvem AC Holds ELC Interaction to Empower Young Voters at Carmel & Angel Polytechnic Nuvem, Oct 8: Taking electoral literacy beyond the ballot box, the 28-Nuvem Assembly Constituency, South Goa District, organised an Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) awareness interaction for students of Carmel College, Nuvem and Angel Polytechnic, Verna.
The session focused on the importance of electoral registration and responsible participation in the democratic process, highlighting the crucial role of students as responsible citizens. Students were encouraged to become ambassadors of democracy — to promote voter awareness, ethical voting and informed participation among their friends, families and communities.


In a practical demonstration, students were trained on using the ECINET app on their mobile phones for filling Form-6 for inclusion in the Electoral Roll, making the registration process simple and accessible.The interaction emphasised the value of exercising the right to vote and making informed choices.Present on the occasion were Coordinators Mrs. Louise Ann Sequeira and Mrs. Harneet Assi, Master Trainer Mr. Roque Coelho, AERO 28-Nuvem AC Smt. Sampada Faldessai, Election Clerk Mr. Rahul Naik and BLOs of 28-Nuvem AC.
