Safe & Seen Initiative Holds Child Safety Awareness Session for Teachers in Mapusa
Mapusa: As part of ‘Safe & Seen’, a Child Rights and Safety Initiative undertaken in collaboration with Scan-Goa, an awareness session for teachers and staff was conducted at Goa Vidya Pratishthan’s Shree Ganesh Vidyamandir, Mapusa.
The session was led by Adv. Emidio Desouza Pinho and highlighted the importance of child protection, early identification of concerns, and equipping educators to respond with care, sensitivity and understanding. Emphasis was also laid on encouraging children to share their concerns openly in a safe environment.
Through ‘Safe & Seen’, the initiative continues to strengthen awareness among educators and foster a supportive ecosystem where every child feels safe, heard and supported.The session saw active participation from the teaching and non-teaching staff of the school.
