Kushavati District Gears Up for Census 2027: Training for Population Enumeration Begins in Margao
Margao: Kushavati District Begins Census 2027 Population Enumeration Training A two-day training programme for Phase II – Population Enumeration under Census 2027 is being conducted for Charge Clerks and Technical Assistants (TAs) of Kushavati District at the MSAC Building, Margao, Goa.
The training aims to equip the field-level personnel with the necessary knowledge and understanding for the effective and accurate conduct of the Population Enumeration exercise. The Collector, Kushavati District, Shri Gurudas S. T. Desai, GCS, emphasized that the Census is an exercise of national importance, serving as foundational data for future socio-economic policies, infrastructure planning and welfare schemes.
He stressed the importance of accuracy, diligence and coordination among all officials involved in the Census process to ensure a smooth and reliable enumeration exercise.
