Just 28% of companies globally implementing workforce heat resilience measures: Report
NEW DELHI: (Sep 21) Despite growing awareness of the severe impact of extreme heat on workforce health and productivity, just 28 per cent of companies around the globe have piloted or scaled up interventions to address the issue, according to a new report.
The report also found that 50 per cent of organisations have yet to make a systematic assessment of how extreme heat affects workforces in either direct operations or value chains.
