THOUSAND WOMEN UNITE AT BJP’S SHRAVAN MAHOTSAV IN SALIGAO
Saligao, Goa: In a spectacular display of devotion, culture and women power, over 6,000 women from across the Saligao Constituency came together for the 6th edition of the Shravan Mahotsav 2026 at Verem Ground. Organised by the BJP Saligao Mahila Morcha, the evening was marked by spiritual fervour, cultural performances and a strong sense of togetherness. The festival, which has grown into one of the largest women-centric celebrations in North Goa, saw enthusiastic participation year after year. The celebration was graced by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade and Hon’ble Siolim MLA Delilah Lobo, and MLA Kedar naik who blessed the gathering and lauded the efforts of the Mahila Morcha in preserving Goan culture and empowering women.
A special note of appreciation was extended by MLA Kedar naik to the entire BJP Saligao Mandal, Yuva Morcha, State and District Committee members, Booth Presidents, Shakti Kendra members and all Padhadhikaris, whose tireless dedication made the grand event a huge success.The record-breaking turnout is a testament to the strength, unity and vibrant spirit of the Nari Shakti of Saligao.
