“Saligao MLA  Strengthens Village Infrastructure With New High-Mast Lights In Betim”

Saligao: Heeding long-pending requests from residents, MLA Kedar Naik on Sunday inaugurated two new high-mast lights at Betim Playground and one at Betim Smashan Bhoomi to improve lighting, safety and public convenience.

Naik said the initiative was taken to ensure children and youth can use the playground safely after sunset, and to provide proper illumination for families visiting the crematorium.

“Strengthening basic infrastructure in every village is my priority. These lights will make public spaces safer and more accessible for all,” the MLA stated. besides MLA also Present were Sarpanch, Reis Magos, Sushmita Pednekar, Dy. Sarpanch, Shruti Chodankar,  Sarpanch, Penha de França,  Swapnil Chodankar,  and members Subhash Pednekar and  Prasanna Nagvekar Secretary,  Sunil Arlekar,  along with locals .Residents welcomed the move, saying it will curb accidents and anti-social activities while extending hours for sports and community use.
