FDA Cracks Down on Milk Tankers in Overnight Drive at Patradevi Border

Panaji: The Goa Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) conducted a special overnight inspection drive at the Patradevi check post on the Goa-Maharashtra border, scrutinising vehicles transporting milk and other food items into the state. The operation continued from late night until the early hours of the morning. During the inspection, FDA officials closely examined the labelling on packaged milk, verifying manufacturing and expiry dates, along with other mandatory packaging details, to ensure compliance with food safety regulations before the products entered Goa.
